The Triangle Rock Paper Scissors Showdown started as a concept from a former staff member at Learning Together. “What a fun, entertaining, and competitive way to show your support for an organization,” thought Nell Barnes, Executive Director of Learning Together. “In a community with so many great nonprofits and fundraising events happening on a regular basis, the Triangle Rock Paper Scissors Showdown is unique and stands apart from your regular wine dinner or golf tournament.”

From there, we’ve hit the road running and have not stopped to look back once! Our goal is to take the event Triangle wide challenging all companies, organizations, small businesses, civic groups, clubs and more to get in on the most exciting fundraiser yet!

The 2015 Triangle, Rock, Paper, Scissors Showdown is presented by Learning Together and our partner NC Fresh Catch. Indoor and outdoor entertainment await at Raleigh’s Lincoln Theater on Saturday, March 7th at 4pm. The party kicks off in the parking lot with steamed and smoked oysters, BBQ, and smoked fish plates presented by Pit Masters Paul Reams, Al Myers, and Chef Jake Wolf of Capital Club 16.  Inside, the Lincoln hosts the 4th annual Triangle Rock, Paper, Scissors Showdown. The Showdown is the ultimate contest of skill, fun, and luck and benefits Learning Together, a non-profit committed to meeting the developmental, educational, and health needs of children of all abilities.  Live music blends the evening together with acoustic fireside jams and a closing set at 8pm by Raleigh-based funk unit Outside Soul. Advance ticket purchase is strongly recommended and includes food and music as well as a FREE After Party with The Revolvers (Beatles Tribute), No Halos (Classic Rock), and Gimme Shelter (Rolling Stones Tribute) starting at 9:30pm. Food orders cannot be guaranteed after Feb 28th. Doors 4:00 pm/food 4:30.  Both indoor and outdoor dining is available. Event is rain or shine. Advance tickets on sale online via Lincoln Theatre.
